About Me
With over ten years of experience in human resources and executive support at museums and arts institutions, I've developed a keen eye for identifying colleagues' needs and translating them into practical solutions.
As a photographer, I've learned how to tell compelling stories through design, simplifying complex topics to create an emotional connection with viewers. Combining innate curiosity, empathy, and emotional intelligence, I'm able to create visually stunning designs that are not only functional, but also delight users.
Collaboration is at the core of my work. I thrive on working closely with stakeholders and coworkers to solve problems and exceed expectations. My dedication to excellence is reflected in my passion for advocating for funding for arts and culture in our community.
As a UX designer, I take a serious approach to creating meaningful and effective designs that make a lasting impact on people's lives.
My Design Principles
01 — Understanding Is the Work
Strong solutions begin with clarity. I don’t rush into screens — I define the real problem first. Surface requests often hide deeper needs, and uncovering them is part of the design process. I work through structured discovery, thoughtful questions, and clearly framed problem statements before solutioning.
02 — Clarity Is Respect
Design should guide, not overwhelm. I prioritize simplicity, hierarchy, and narrative flow so users can move forward with confidence — especially when decisions feel complex. My goal is to reduce cognitive load, and develop intentional visual systems and experiences that feel calm and trustworthy.
03 — Design Is Shared Responsibility
The best outcomes are built collaboratively. I work closely with stakeholders to align user needs with business realities and make thoughtful tradeoffs for strong cross-functional alignment, balanced decisions, and solutions designed for long-term impact.
